Students in the School District of Philadelphia will be able to catch up on some sleep the morning after the Eagles face the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57.
"While we look forward to a great game and an Eagles victory, we also look forward to welcoming students back to classrooms on the next day on a two-hour delay," the district said in a statement.The district joins a list of other school systems that will be delayed on Monday to avoid no-shows and allow for a little extra shut-eye.

This generation is so soft. All of us as kids stayed up and watched the whole Super Bowl and went to school on time the next day. However I do believe they should move the Super Bowl to Saturday instead of Sunday.
Can we do this for all local school districts please.
Why? Is it that teachers need to deal with hangovers? I can’t imagine any employer putting up with employees showing up late for hangovers. Sounds more like alcoholism is rampant with our educators.
