D’Ettorre was a student teacher at Liberty Junior School during the second semester of the 2021-22 school year. She was attending Liberty University while she was a student teacher.
The sexual contact with a student, who reportedly is between 13 and 16 years old, occurred after she stopped teaching May, reports say. The incidents occurred between May 21 and Aug. 30, the Journal-News reports. Prosecutors say D’Ettorre had sexual contact with the student and also sent nude photos. She is next scheduled to appear in court on April 11, Fox 19 reports.
