The 64-year-old woman remains in hospital

Police have confirmed the woman involved in a serious city centre crash last week has been identified.

The 64-year-old woman was rushed to hospital after being hit by a grey VW Tiguan at around 8.15pm on Thursday, February 2 on Elmbank Street at its junction with St Vincent Street, and was in a critical condition. Officers had issued multiple appeals after they failed to identify the woman but have now said the woman's family has been notified, and she remains in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3467 of February 2.
