I want to make sure that when we require training for a child in kindergarten or first grade, we use developmentally appropriate language around those children,” Johnson said.

This LDS panel doesn’t think bad things can happen here. Because they can just pray it away.

The total failure of cops to do their job during the Uvalde tragedy should be a major concern to Utah parents. How will the Legislature address that concern?

Your a bunch of clowns too.🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Anything but strict gun control laws 🙄

First check to see if our schools actually need that. They need more teacher's with better pay.

Nothing says stressing our children more than calling for more shooting drills. The students in Jr High and High school already have too many mental health issues.

This looks like a church group more than a government group! Which one of these people represents the non-Mormons?

Just look at the group in this picture! Did they look to you like they represent the minority or the majority in Utah?

And, more useless ideas from the Republican protectorate.

I’d only support this if the school resource officers were required to act in the case of an active shooter. Another cop wouldn’t have done anything to help the kids at Uvalde.

Always anything but reasonable gun control. Harden schools, bring in more guns, hire more 'officers'. It's a sham.

Monthly drills are going to stress kids out so much! They run lockdown drills a couple times during the year (or once per term or something) already, that's enough. Don't take more instruction time away just to scare them about coming to school.

How about fewer cops in school and more counselors? How about we work on treating the symptoms and not just wait for kids actions to be criminalized?

School resource officers just end up throwing kids into the criminal justice system for trivial things, especially black and brown kids.

Show me data proving that school resource officers actually make schools safer. Because I've not seen that. How will hiring more help?
