That’s what the Antigonish County Adult Learning Association is all about.

ACALA presents many opportunities to learn, perhaps more than people realize. It’s well known the organization offers high school upgrading and preparing people to get their general educational development , but there are countless other programs as well. Practical learning is a big component as well. For example, someone may want to learn a life skill such as doing laundry. An ACALA representative could take the individual to a laundromat for hands-on learning.
