A 17-year-old boy is accused of firing a gun during a fight with other students.Police responded at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of shots fired at the high school, but quickly said the scene was no longer"active."
The five other students were not arrested, although they may face disciplinary action by the high school and school district, police reported."Students are safe and accounted for and the protocols are precautionary to ensure student safety," a tweet from the Granite School District read. Lockout means the school can proceed as normal while exterior doors to the building are locked and visitors are not permitted inside.
