CARLSBAD – The City of Carlsbad announced a new campaign to improve traffic awareness ans safety i+ school adjacent communities.
The city’s main focus is to better educate students and parents on best practices when riding bikes and ebikes, as well as parents on best driving practices when bikers are on the road.
Two deaths that had to do with driver errors. The drivers were not on bikes, one ran a stop sign, while driving a car and killing a person on a bike. The other was fleeing law enforcement, yes you read that right, on a motorcycle and crashed. The motorcycle hit a bike rider.
