There were plenty of early misgivings in the media when it came to Trump. But when it comes to local races, voters cannot always trust the media with the biggest reach to do that job for them.
Perhaps the paper itself did not do all it could have to get the word out about this “fabulist” and “fake” on the ballot. But this surely was a reminder that even though we hear a lot about the collapse of local news in America, there remains some excellent, on-the-ground journalism.
Any congress with Ilhan Omar in it can handle another lying fraud crook.
No one should lie! But look at Shift, Swalwell, and of course Biden. Biden’s been lying for 45plus yrs. Shift leaked info to press and continually lied about Trump, Russian Hoax. Swalwell, lying &having a long term relationship with a Chinese spy. Pelosi with insider trading.

A politician who lies? Unimaginable. Biden's entire political career is but a series of lies. The Trib's credibility is zero. Focus on our dying and corrupt state and city and don't worry about the media pile-on on a single congressman from New York.
Clarence Page is worried about Ron DeSantis in Florida today. The rest of the editorial board is worried about a Representative from New York. Is everything fine in Chicago? And Illinois?
Another lying politician is not news, nor is the Trib calling out a Republican when they never question the lies of Democrat's, which is basically the entire Dem narrative.
