Tenaris has made two donations totalling $200,000 to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation and to mark the introduction of a scholarship program with NOSM University.

“We’re so grateful for the continued support of Tenaris,” said foundation Executive Director Teresa Martone. “Their gifts have helped our newest Saultites receive outstanding care at Sault Area Hospital, and their continued support will ensure these services can grow and evolve to support the ongoing needs of our community.”

The company is also partnering with the NOSM University to launch a scholarship program that will award a total of $150,000 over three years to medical learners completing their residency in Sault Ste. Marie. Ten first-year and second-year residents at the university will receive a $5,000 scholarship to apply toward their residency training.
