The crime was caught on surveillance video and showed the student being followed by three males and then attacked.
Students say while they feel safe on campus, they have serious concerns when they venture off campus."It's so scary because it could be anybody. You never know. You feel so bad for the family," said sophomore Olivia Diedrich. A town hall was held on Monday evening to discuss safety and the ongoing violence near campus. Students left the meeting with mixed opinions over how receptive university leaders were.
These kids need to realize, that unless you are on campus.....in dorms..(and drinking at Maxis...lol).....you are living in NORTH PHILLY.....and I dont think they realize that....You just dont LIVE 7 blocks away....I rented in Center City and commuted.....much better bet!
These cowards man, pick the wrong one and get blasted away. Phillly is full of these cowards. Either they jump you or hide behind guns. Ignorant cowards!!
Why anyone would send their children to temple is beyond me. That part of the city has been a cesspool and deadly for years.

Back in the day TempleUniv gave me W/E grades for a semester because I spent 75% of the semester in treatment for depression/drinking. But they kept my tuition money. Hopefully they treat students better a decade later. How about budget to expand safety measure for its student that have to live just off campus
