BISouthAfrica It's not just about achieving top marks when going to some of these expensive schools. You get to be in the company of kids with the wealthiest parents. Depending on how 'smart' you are, you can have you future pretty much set up.

BISouthAfrica In Zimbabwe state and mission schools outperform private schools always. They pay more for extra curricular activities. In South Africa teacher attitudes at state schools is what kills performance. A positive attitude by the teacher translates to the children

BISouthAfrica This Headline makes no sense. If the kids are smart the kids are smart. If the teachers are hard workers they will do their thing where ever they are. It's about the learners and teachers' hard work, and parents sometimes. It has nothing to do with the money.

BISouthAfrica I don't believe the notion of 'cheap' or 'expensive' school. For me its entirely in the hands of the student on how committed they are to their school work.
