A group of parents caused disruptions at the school on Wednesday, complaining over what they perceive to be the unfair the promotion of some pupils.The Department of Education in KZN says the majority of the teachers at the school were afraid to report for duty for the first day of school after their vehicles were pelted with stones on Tuesday.“We understand the problem was with the parents, who wanted all their learners to begin and ‘pass-one pass-all’.

“What we will do as a department, there is an investigation going on where will check everything, starting with the marking up to the issuing of reports. We are dealing with that matter.”
