Talks between the Government and teachers stalled without progress on Wednesday as ambulance workers and nurses announced co-ordinated action for next month.seven days of strike action over teachers’ payNo progress was made during the talks, according to the NAHT union. Discussions will start again on Friday.
It came as ambulance workers from the GMB union confirmed they would join strike action by nurses from the Royal College of Nursing on 6 February. 10,000 paramedics, assistants, call handlers and other ambulance staff will also strike on 20 February, 6 March and 20 March, the GMB union said. on Wednesday and Thursday to demand a pay rise.
