A black Citroen C1 hit the man as he crossed

An 83-year-old man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car Northampton. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at around midday on Friday, January 13, in Lanercost Walk.Anyone who witnessed the incident, or might have CCTV or dashcam footage of it, is being asked to contact officers.Email CollisionAppeals@northants.police.uk, call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615 or call Northamptonshire Police on 101. The incident number is 23000025343.

The appeal comes on the back of a62-year-old man being hospitalised following a serious collision near Wellingborough. Northamptonshire Police has since arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the crash, which happened in Farndish Road, Irchester, at about 3.45pm on Monday, January 9.READ NEXT:
