The nearly 30-second clip alleged shows the teacher slamming the tenth-grade student onto a table and then shoving him against a wall.A Texas teacher is on leave after a video shows him physically attacking a student, but the teen's family said the district hasn't gone far enough.

Bolden said his 10th-grade student was attacked Wednesday by a teacher. The district put the educator on leave. "This should not have happened. It is unacceptable. The teacher has been put on leave. An investigation is underway, and it is unlikely he will be returning when the investigation concludes. On January 11, 2023, the teacher was helping out in another classroom when he used physical force to try to get a student to take a seat and listen. These actions are unacceptable and contrary to standards and expectations for all employees.

I’m sure he was a goot boi. Remember kids, joggers jog no matter where.

How about asking what the out of control kid did to deserve that? Todays entitled kids are out of control and unruly. Stop making excuses for their bad behavior. He deserved every bit of that.

Teachers have the hardest job. If a student can’t behave in a classroom, they should be sent home. Parents should be held responsible.

Saw the video. Sorry…. Kid asked for it. When people say “he’s a child!” …. I laugh because I routinely arrest “kids” who are 6’2” and 210. Sorry…. Your “child” fighting me doesn’t mean he gets a pass. At 16 I knew right from wrong. I never attacked a teacher. Period.

Probably deserved it!!!!

Should this teacher have struck this kid? No. However, parents need to teach their children to listen and respect their teachers. 'My child did nothing wrong..blah, blah, blah'

The family wants them to do more?

As a former educator and having been a student it’s rough on the teachers when the children have behavioral problems. Please don’t fire that teacher see where the teacher need help and also the student. Well, so long as he was humble about it, I guess its ok?
