A Hudson County high school teacher and coach who sexually assaulted at least teen girl students have been sentenced to four years in prison, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

Francisco “Mike” Realpe, who taught at Union Hill in Union City and Dickinson and McNair Academic high schools in Jersey City, was handed two four-year sentences Friday by Hudson County Superior Court Judge Carlo Abad, but they will be served concurrently. Realpe is subject to Megan’s Law and parole supervision for life, Suarez said. He also forfeited his right to current and future public employment and permanent restraining orders are in place for both victims.One victim report being sexually assaulted in November 2019 while Realpe was a teacher at Dickinson High School. Shortly after Realpe’s arrest, the second victim reported being sexually assaulted in 2004 while a student at Union Hill High School.
