JOHANNESBURG - The Foundation for Education and Social Justice Africa is calling on the Higher Education minister to stop academic and financial exclusions this year.READ:Deputy chairperson Hendrick Makaneta says the private sector should join hands with government to help cash-strapped students.
No one gave me anything for free
Are you guys expecting profs, Dr's, together with resecheasers,SMEs and lectures to offer their services for free vele🤔I mean how do you call it free, if the Tax Man will end up paying for it, which results to yet another problem, (domestic recession).
Private sector must assist but education will be provided on a minimum pass mark of 65% ..
Go ask the goverment that failed you. The private sector didn't fail the students with empty promises. The corrupt criminal goverment has. Keep these parasites accountable.🖕
Maybe we can have free education when the ANC stops stealing the government money.....
If education is free, who pays for facilities, textbooks, and teachers' salaries. Think of where our education system will be. No teacher will want to work for nothing. Also, this means higher inflation on tax, so this in tail means nothing will be free....
Stop demanding, you must work for it and deserve it, you certainly do not deserve it with you grade 12 results!
So that MYANC can steal more money😂
Play lotto, that is how I made my Billions $$$$$$$. Hehe, prez fo Eva!
Why?
Why are inmates getting it free but they are criminals but we can't get it free
When we warn that this 'everything for free' in this country isn't sustainable, we were called clever blacks. Private sector is under pressure right now due to loadshedding, etc. Government must be brave enough to reserve some of the mistakes made. Free education not sustainable
Big problem in SA entitlement, we demand. Want everything for free.
Lol... The joke...
Must the private sector also run the country? 🤬🤬
As far as I'm concerned, that's the government's problem, not the people's problem!
The education Foundation can sit and rotate, maybe Buddha will enlighten them.
Knowing that my investment is in safe hands got me excited. I made that possible with his excellent trading technique. I invested R6,000. as capital and in a few days I got a return of R88,000. His transparency, reliability and diligence is undeniable.Markmaynardq
We all paid for school fees..... Came hell or high water we paid.
Zero return on investment
Why must the Private sector pay? Give me one good reason.
Absolutely no way. Half of the kids use the funds to buy unnecessary luxuries and drop out and toytoy when its exam time
Free education should start in the beginning years of education, when you are in varsity you can work your way through?
The education levels are so low now, might as well make it free.!! FuckQueenRamaphosa FokOffANC MYANC PresidencyZA CyrilRamaphosa
🤣
Iphi eyamahala Zuma promised ngayo
For what....
Why must the private sector fund the public sector when the citizens are finding it already via tax? Public sector should fund the private sector instead because they not getting government funding. The Public sector is always taking money but we can't see it being used at all.
The private sector has been paying a payroll tax for sectoral training for decades and has yet to see a benefit.
Only in private institutions like Soltech and Akademia for students who really qualify for such burseries. Private sector will not waste money where anc is in control.
And still pay crazy taxes...our government is not ashamed at all struu
Ag se poes! Ons wit velletjies is mos net goed genoeg as daar bakhandjie gestaan word!
In fact all who receive a sassa grant should be made to do community service for it.
Absolutely not. We’ve funded everything as taxpayers and have nothing to show for it. Schools burnt down, libraries burnt down. Hell no, enough is enough. ANC promised these things not taxpayers. They can get the money from their couches, I’m sure there’s plenty.
This woke mentality won't get anyone anywhere. The private sector already funds education through taxes, and are over burdened. Even if they could do more, someone, somewhere will turn it into a racial thing
How about, the education foundation piss off. The private sector has become the go to begging bowl since the ANC has failed so miserably. Why must the private sector who gets lambasted at every turn step up to assist? Tsek.
Zuma promised....ask him or Guptas
But YOU promised free education, why must the private sector now fund the students?
There where no free Education 20 years back, why now, nothing is for free in south africa, they wanted children now they must pay, goba ba ba✊🏿viva
SINCE WHEN?
Nope. Just nope
Let take government gives you free education and take off NSFAS would you still protest huh
They must improve the standard of education first
The value of 'free' education is a worthless concept... The parents should pay for their children's education. (If there is no money, then DON'T have children)
There’s no Must do anything! The govt has had more than enough funds and it’s been stolen over and over again! Go ask ANC!
Why?
Socialism/Communism is failing, now they are turning to Capitalism to solve their failures.
But NSFAS?
Niyabheda l cant hv a company and pay for what
Voetsek. Stop stealing, learn to budget and to not waste resources.
NO. DEFINITELY NOT. Want to kill my white skin but want my money. NOT HAPPENING. Go cry and beg from other wyt countries 'blak child'. Here we know your viciousness and we experience your hate and filth and corruption daily. I dont donate blood either. Always begging/demanding
No thanks
They must pay us first before students fund. Ninesicefe niyakwazi okuza kunina. These people don't pay us la kwiprivate sector bazenzela umathanda and nobody cares. Even if you go to CCMA still bachema nabo kudliwe amacoffee. Nalama unions abhedayo. Anoke nisibheke bo!
The government must stop stealing money then there will be enough to fund students education
Must
Far too many NGOs and Foundations and too little government. The cabinet and parliament is run as a tribal structure were elected/appointed are not allowed to think, act in their own capacity. Thus the government underutilized the available brain cells.
Why? The government can do that. Otherwise why do we have SAReserveBank
Why I had 3 jobs incl weekends to pay for my education!!!
When I started a family, I had to keep all expenditures in mind!! It is your child, you must provide! Nowadays who can have 3 or more children? SASA is just not enough to raise a child. Think twice....
No ways, this thing of free things must stop
Haybo Zuma announced that there was money at reserve bank ...The current president kept quiet about it meaning the money has been channelled elswhere
Why so anc can steal more?
I don’t think people understand the meaning of private… 👀
MUST?
No
But Zuma gave it to them already- surely the Zuma Foundation can pick up the bill - they regularly claim this was one of his best achievements
Taxes or no taxes...this mantra of free things yields only more chaos and more demands
We do through our taxes, or where is our taxes being spent?
Education are not the responsibility of private sector, private sector creates opportunities. ANC promised free education in 1994, we pay 1% extra on VAT to provide free education where is money ANC? stopblackapartheid
You breed them you pay for them .
Public sector chowed all the funds
True that, they have been benefitting without investing in education.
U have no news nhe?
Only if the pass rate required is above 45 percent
Start saving from when your kids are born..that's how normal people have to do it. Why should everyone else have to fund your DNA?
Nihlanyela abanye. Niqhufuza imali yokuphucula imfundo bese nifuna abanye abenzq kahle to bail ur onsense. Leav private sector and fix public schools..
How ... everyone is struggling .. government is stealing every area they can
Nooo govt must fund students.
The private sector are already financing students through taxes. The anc criminal syndicate must stop stealing the money meant for students 🤡
2 friends, sons received 4 year bursaries 1 recvd stipends and accom Both 'white' 2 distant family members got 4 year bursaries, stipends + accomodation Both 'coloured' 3 of the 4 employed upon completion of degree PVRTSECTORBursaries have never stopped!
Government alone can fund RSA education with ease. But they prefer funding failing state owed businesses.
🤣😅 south Africa 🇿🇦 ❤️
Foundational education is free, yet only 32% have a matric. NSFAS was intended to make tertiary education accessible, and yet only 6% have a degree, 6% a diploma and the MYANC ransacked the fund. There is no saving dysfunctional and primitive people.
Tsek!
''Must'' is an ugly word
Is this a joke?... ...if you have kids you must plan to educate them yourselves
What a joke to help pay for someone who will steel from you and burn down your place and strike for everything.
At least a third of our private sector no longer exist because of ANC poor corrupt governance.
Ask ANC politicians to stop stealing first.
What are taxes for?
We pay tax , the government must stop stealing it
Destroy eskom monopoly first. Lack of electricity makes it difficult to create jobs for graduates
Why?
Is the Private sector not already funding education through tax, the scholarships and bursaries they give to top performing students. Ask the ANC politicians busy looting state funds to fund education if NFSAS is not enough.
😵😳 'must'
Private sector already pay taxes which get stolen.
Why? Getting everything for free is not a good way to prepare any student for the future. The State coffers are now stolen empty...so now you want to turn to the private sector? I wouldn't give you a cent ...Sorry.
The country can't afford it.
Another topic/matter that's talked about every year ,also around this time . Don't you guys get tired .
True to form, ANC passing the buck onto the private sector
