Taiwo Gbolahan, a first-year student of the Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, (FUOYE) has been crushed to death by a truck along Ikole-Oye highway in the state. SaharaReporters gathered that the deceased, who was the class governor of quantity survey department died on Friday morning. The deceased was said to be on his way to school while a truck rammed into the bike he boarded and crushed him to death.

December 17, 2022Taiwo Gbolahan, a first-year student of the Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, has been crushed to death by a truck along Ikole-Oye highway in the state.

The deceased was said to be on his way to school while a truck rammed into the bike he boarded and crushed him to death. The statement partly reads;"The University has received the sad news of the loss of one our students in a ghastly motor accident on Ikole-Oye highway today. This is in spite of the spirited and prompt efforts of the Directorate of University Medical Services to render help and convey the student to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido, for comprehensive attention.
