It comes after some HSC students got access to their exam results on Saturday, five days earlier than expected, due to an IT glitch.

Now, there have been warnings issued over ATAR calculations school leavers might do online to determine the university admission indicator.And there's also anxiety for those students who didn't discover their subject marks had gone up on their Students Online Account until after the results were removed.Now, students like Fleur Davies are having to wait till the original release day of Thursday before they can find out more.

Students started to access their results from as early as 1am, with the URL going viral on the HSC Facebook discussion group, which has more than 32,000 members - that's nearly half of the state's class of 2022."We just apologise for the confusion or the distress that this may have caused," NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell told 9News.
