The same people crying about schools being unsafe for their children were the people demanding police resource officers be removed from schools. Oh my, if it isn't the consequences of your actions.

Not just the GTA. It's happening in London too. It's even worse once the kids walk off school property. Bullies wait for them. Same thing happening to my kid.

Maybe the school board members should start supplying in schools and see what the teachers have to deal with. Time to remove the trouble making children from the schools and have the wonderful parents look after their entitled self righteous children.

Some say having police in school makes some feel intimidated. When I went to school we were intimidated by the teachers, who were allowed and to action against anyone that acted like a punk. and we also were afraid of parents finding out we acted up. Not today.

Other students and teachers want the provincial government to fund public education the way it (and municipal governments) fund police services. We need more educators in buildings, not cops. This is some bullshit copaganda right here.

This is nothing compared to schools in the 90s .. it just wasn't reported as much because it was a norm. Start expelling students ..make an example and you will see how things change.

Definitely, there should be a police car stationed at every school during drop and pickup timings.

How would a lone police officer prevent violence which could occur anywhere inside or outside of a given school? If you're serious about significantly reducing violence, expel the culprits. If you're not serious, copy York Memorial.

Just an example of what Toronto has become. Immigration over the last 10 years has destroyed Ontario. We need to go back to the immigration policies of the 60's.

Studies show resource officers actually make schools more unsafe.

Start looking into who is committing over 90% of the violence.

Please don’t let gangs/bullies threaten and recruit the kids. There should be a system in place where kids can report this and preventative action is taken. Or create virtual classes as an option.
