Popular Vancouver musical Mrs. Claus Kitchen’ will run until Dec.9 in Prince George.

A holiday musical co-written and produced by a Prince George teacher, Kevin O’Brien, will take the stage at Vanier Hall.It tells the story of Mrs. Claus who is feeling underappreciated at the North Pole and discovered a magical recipe for drawing families together.

It is also set on the cusp of the 1960s, when modern Christmas really came of age, and takes the audience on a tuneful ride filled with charm, laughter and a fresh look at the hustle, bustle and real worth of a family holiday.
