"This was a special group this year," said coach Peter Halley."We never let any of our successes or setbacks stop us from working to get better and staying together as a team. So proud of them and to finish with a championship makes it even more special. Halley, who won provincial boys' titles as head coach of the Sackville Kingfisher from 2006-2010, was able to share the championship with his son Hayden, a star setter on the team.

It was a dominant run for the Dragons, who ran the table in the tournament they co-hosted with Halifax West. Lockview took a 25-13, 25-23 semifinal victory over the Halifax West Warriors and were a perfect 3-0 record in the round robin.

Students walk out of Toronto school amid 'constant chaos,' violenceStudents walked out of a Toronto high school they say has become the site of 'constant chaos' in which students detail deplorable conditions, teachers say it’s violent and parents are demanding action from the school board. People need to raise their own kids... schools are horrible for kids... homeschooling is the way of the future. Majority just to get out of school work. Ask the majority of them and their answers are weak or just a jumping on bandwagon I just love this Premier, when a fight isn’t necessary he picks one, when we need his help he is no where to be found. This is not a leader of people. He is a populist money hungry loser.

Renters aren’t bad people just because they can’t come up with thousands for a downpayment of qualify a half million $ mortgage at decades high rates. Dear “R.W”. There is no reason for police to be in schools. None. If there’s one lesson we can learn from our southern neighbours let it be that one. We need real police before we'll know. Prove legitimacy of BC Police/Commissioner, then decide.

Toronto's elementary teachers demand more school resourcesElementary Teachers of Toronto demand cost\u002Dof\u002Dliving increases, smaller classes, more student supports from provincial government. We demand education be made an essential service I don't understand why governments don't make schools a number 1 priority for funding. Shaping the minds if children literally shapes our world. These modern times have it so backwards no wonder everything is falling apart.

Kemptville's school chess champCTV's Nate Vandermeer with chess challenge for 17-year-old Owen Healey, to take on ten teachers at the same time. Impressive. That reminded me of the scene in the series 'The Queen's Gambit' when Anya Taylor-Joy's character took on a bunch of different players at the same time as well. TWITTERGATE Oddly silent CTV not mentioning the huge story of media-political fascism that Musk uncovered. Perhaps CTV is guilty too?….
