Suspicious man spotted outside Toronto public school

Toronto police are trying to identify a man from a suspicious incident near a school in the city’s Upper Beaches neighbourhood.

They say on Tuesday around 1 p.m. a man was seen standing by a vehicle in the Gerrard Street and Beaton Street area outside Bowmore Road Junior Public School. Three students were in the school yard during gym class when the man was spotted waving towards the students and appeared to be motioning them towards the open car door.Eventually the man left in the area heading eastbound on Gerrard Street.

He is described as 6′, heavy build, black hair and black shaggy beard. He was wearing a black jacket or sweater and black pants.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5500, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 .Ctrl+Enter
