FOX5’s news helicopter was over the scene in New Hempstead, Rockland County, where a school bus lost control and crashed into a home.

FOX5’s news helicopter was over the scene on Southgate Drive, which showed an overturned vehicle to the side of the bus.There are reports of wires down, as well as a building inspector request for damage to the house.

In a tweet, Michael Specht, supervisor for the town of Ramapo, New York, says, "At the scene of major school bus accident on Southgate Drive. Our thoughts are with the children & their families as we pray for speedy recovery. Thank you all first responders: @Ramapo_PD @RHatzoloh @SpringHillEMS Faist EMS @ChaverimRocklnd. Full investigation is underway by RPD."
