The COVID-19 pandemic has carried a key lesson for public health officials, Dr. Anthony Fauci says: When talking to Americans, be clear that science is often a moving target.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, speaks during a press briefing at the White House, on Nov. 22, 2022.

"What we knew [about COVID-19] in January was very different from what we knew at the end of January, the beginning of February, and then very different from March," Fauci, who is stepping down next month after 38 years at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, told CNN's Jake Tapper.

Fauci announced in August that he would be stepping down from NIAID and as chief medical adviser to U.S. President Joe Biden "to pursue the next chapter of my career." Experts agree that the virus almost certainly jumped into humans from an animal market in China but that they may never know for sure. "It's possible that there was a lab leak," Fauci said. Making 💩 up at the speed of Science. Funny how I don't recall CTV covering Dr. Fakeys 7hr deposition in court last week where his memory was so patchy he couldn't recall many details of his departments Covid response. Must be suffering from long Covid memory loss 🤡

I think all Americans can agree that he really did a bad job. Over a million dead from a preventable illness, and Americans think he helped. Lol.

This ‘gain of function’ mad scientist should be thrown behind bars for the rest of his life

That he made a fortune and ran.

Fauci isn’t credible. CTV News isn’t credible. You guys suck!!

Do you think if you’re a federal employee who gets to influence policy you should reveal what royalties you’ve received? From who and how much?

CBC will certainly miss him.

Should be behind bars.

Of course CTV (CNN of the North) won’t delve into how a lifelong public servant can retire a multimillionaire. CTV also won’t touch the question as to why he covered for China on the source of Covid. Aren’t leftist networks wonderful?

Mengela

Fauci is a delusional manic liar !

It's funny for how we can be all for discriminating against the Citizens in his own country and in Canada but somehow he's against China discriminating against their citizens he should renounce everything he's done over the last two years and apologize to the people
