The National Association of Nigerian Students North-west chapter, on Tuesday issued a two-day ultimatum to the wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari, to ‘release’ a student who was arrested for allegedly ‘trolling’ her on Twitter.
Mr Limanchi said the NANS has given Mr Buhari two days’ ultimatum to release the student, otherwise, they will embark on a mass protest to press for the release of the student. “The student is due for his final undergraduate exam on 5 December. The student unions, human rights commissions, and civil society organisations will be compelled to march on the streets in solidarity protest across the country until we ensure his immediate release,” the NANS said.
Isn't it the same shameless NANS that went apologising to her? I feel so bad now for all those dues we were made to pay.
Pls Nigerians this is the 1999 constitution as amended 2011 can someone tell me where first lady is mentioned in this constitution that gave Aisha the impetus to arrest the poor boy for flimsy excuse. In 2015 Aisha wasn't as huge as she is now so what's offensive in that tweet
She should also tender apology for misuse of power abuse
It is very disturbing that Mrs Buhari, had this student detained because of a tweet. It seems the Buharis are allergic to criticism. Well Madame, if you don't like the heat, don't go to the kitchen. Public figures get loads of insults all the time, ask your man.
