There is no significant link between childhood phone ownership and kids' well-being, according to new research out of Stanford University.

new researchResearchers from the Stanford School of Medicine followed more than 250 children from low-income families in Northern California for five years in order to track their well-being as they transitioned to phone ownership.

Each child and one of their parents went through an initial baseline assessment at the beginning of the study, plus annual follow-up assessments. They did observe some changes after kids received their first phones. Whereas the entire group’s depression indicators dropped over time, the decrease was slower when children owned phones than when they did not.

Who funded this study? Apple?

LIES

I use a Motorola Moto G Pure smartphone. I read that the Moto G Pure phone is a starter phone for kids, further evidence that I'm a kid a heart. When I felt paranoid I'd think of a message that CIA computer program (God) sent me that said 'I'll always protect a kid like you'.

Except for the evidence of a completely narcissistic and medicated generation of fucked up kids with fucked up phone-addicted parents.

hurr durr

Yes yes we heard you BS

It's a nice little brainwashing tool, isn't it...

If I have any more kids, they aren't going near these things until they're old enough to pay for them themselves.

introduce yougsters to social media and smart phones .. bad idea

Because exposure to pornography in childhood is totally healthy.

I wonder who funded this study? Apple? Samsung?

Fake news
