Moscow, Idaho Police Chief James Fry says investigators are eyeing “every avenue” to bring the killer of four to justice. Now, they are eyeing the Aug. 13, 2021 murder of Travis Juetten, 26, and the attempted murder of his wife for a possible link. On the day of that murder, a masked man broke into the couple’s Silverton, Oregon home around 3 a.m. and stabbed Juetten 29 times with a long knife — reportedly a similar weapon was used in the Idaho slayings. In addition, in the Oregon investigation, two roommates were left unharmed. Like the Idaho murders, nothing was taken, leaving Oregon detectives grasping at straws for a motive — and a suspect.
