It was standing room only as the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board met Tuesday night to decide if masks should be mandated in schools once again. There were many people who were against the mask mandate in attendance along with those in favour of masks.Evans said she and board staff are considering whether to allow observers when the debate continues, which is expected to be later this week or early next week.
During the meeting Tuesday, people in the crowd yelled at trustees, chanted and sang O Canada. An attendee plunked a cardboard box on the board table full of envelopes and declared trustees had been “served” with notice of legal liability.
