rtyson82 They didn’t reject it over the raise. There are a slew of other demands that would improve the district for students like lowering class sizes. Of course the MSM only want to focus on the raise to frame the issue around “greedy teachers.” Fuck you WSJ

Shouldn't be striking.... they should be learning to spell. Consquences? Seriously?

California already has a HUGE unfunded pension liability that will eventually bankrupt the state. And who is willing to bet they are going to accelerate their destruction with another exhorbitant union agreement.

In what job would you get a 6% raise for failing those who you work for? CA Public Teachers Union one of the strongest. CA has one of the worst public school systems - yet the teachers want a raise

“We don’t need no education “, Building Walls is far better than teaching kids, that’s why idiots kill students.

Can someone teach them how to spell, please?

6% really. Im lucky if I get 1.5% yearly and i still appreciate getting it.

Fire them and replace them. Plenty of people would be willing to work.

6.1%, Agreed? All teachers require a rise in both education with a numeration. Strike is like the word, fuck.

Cali is raising taxes on wealthy people, causing Forrest fires, & not paying teachers... whoa.. oh but weed is legal? 🤦‍♂️

Crazy! 6% much too much

Give them a damn raise.

LAUSD teachers’ strike: Marathon weekend bargaining sessions continueTalks to settle the LAUSD teachers' strike in Los Angeles are continuing through the weekend between the Los Angeles Unified School District and the L.A. teachers union, United Teachers Los Angeles. How can you expect to not have crowded classrooms and open borders simultaneously? Riddle me this. Perhaps if striking teachers didn't allow their Union heads to give 98% of Union contributions to Liberal Dems who support open borders & unlimited illegal immigration- consuming significant taxpayer resources- there wld be more for teachers. Ohh, did Nancy make her way back from the airport?
