And it's hoping to create software that can preempt the next school shooting to stop it before it occurs. Sounds great and impressive. However I can’t help but think about this happening. Damn you Hollywood My worry with technology like this is that it may promote the labeling of students. If the software allows teachers to see a list of students that the AI thinks are picked on a lot, teachers may start treating that kid differently because he's the 'potential school shooter'.
