FOR Mohd Akmal Mohd Yusoff, his trip to SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh on polling day (Nov 19) was a day of mixed emotions.

The Pejuang Sungai Buloh candidate was at the school in Bukit Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh, where he pursued part of his primary education, to cast his vote.

“There’s a sense of nostalgia in coming here to vote, as this is the school where I was named Overall Best Student in 1995. As a father, Mohd Yusoff said he was very proud of his son and prayed that Komal would be a leader with principles and one who would look after people’s welfare. Mohd Yusoff said the family would be at home to monitor the GE15 outcome, while Komal will be at Perdana Leadership Foundation with other Pejuang leaders tonight .
