The union announced its strike deadline last Thursday. Talks with Western administration continued the following day, but no deal was reached, the union said in a weekend statement.Article content The union’s collective agreement expired at the end of June. UWOFA’s demands focus on improving the working conditions of faculty members, given the limitations on public sector employee salary increases created by Ontario’s Bill 124.
