J.T. Mullins is a 2019 graduate of Hershey High School and a senior at Yale University.

has been named a Rhodes Scholar to attend Oxford University in England next fall.

“He has been a scholar at the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, an intern with the Public Defender Service of Washington, D.C., as well as for the Center for Law and Social Policy, and was co-president and Solidarity Chair of Yale Black Men’s Union. At Hershey High School he was the marching band drum major, PMEA All-State Orchestra first chair trombone, PMEA All-State Band third chair euphonium, concert pianist, played varsity boys’ tennis, was principal trombone with Harrisburg Youth Symphony, a precalculus and physics tutor with the National Honor Society and worked at Chocolate Avenue Grill.
