The incident occurred earlier today

An investigation has been launched by police after a man plummeted from the third storey of a Glasgow flat block earlier today.

The 28-year-old fell out of the window of a Blairdardie property on Great Western Road at around 8am. Emergency services blue-lighted to the scene and rushed the man to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His condition is currently unknown, reports the Daily Record.Officers are still standing at the entrance of the high-rise as they continue their enquiries into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man was injured after falling from a third floor window at a property on Great Western Road in the Blairdardie area of Glasgow, at around 8am on Sunday, 13 November, 2022.“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
