Donna Jones complained about the meagre portions served to her daughter as a school meal.

A mum's complaint has gone viral after photos emerged of her daughter's school meal which has been described as a "basically empty" ham baguette.

Donna Jones told WalesOnline that she was furious when her daughter sent a picture to her showing the tiny amount of filling in the baguette at West Monmouth School on September 26. The school meal cost between £2.50 and £3. Ms Jones made a complaint to Torfaen County Borough Councilbut says she has still not received a reply as of this week.

Ms Jones also told her daughter to complain but she didn't believe she had as she was nervous having only started the new term.
