The international education sector is surging back to life with a huge turnaround in just one year in the number of students who intend to study in Australia.
“During the pandemic many international students chose not to study in Australia as a result of closed borders and lockdown policies,” said Jake Foster, chief commercial officer with AECC Global which conducted the study. “But the survey shines a light on the trends we’ve been picking up in terms of the recovery of Australia’s beleaguered international education sector,” Mr Honeywood said.
The study areas that were subject to a decline were engineering , accounting and finance , humanities and education and training .
