The bhamcivilrights Institute is commemorating its 30th year. The Institute will celebrate with performances by R&B singer lalahhathaway and remarks from Dr. Richard Arrington, Odessa Woolfolk, Mayor randallwoodfin and BCRI's DeJuana Thompson. More:

recognizing three decades of activism, education and commitment to social justice.

The celebratory week includes free events for families, a day of complimentary admission to the BCRI and a stage production about the history of Anne Frank and Emmett Till. On Friday, Nov. 18, the Institute will host its official 30th anniversary celebration commemorating its 1992 opening, featuring performances by R&B singer Lalah Hathaway and remarks from Dr. Richard Arrington, Odessa Woolfolk, Mayor Randall Woodfin and BCRI President and CEO DeJuana Thompson.
