The Riverview Ravens captured the Mae Kibyuk Memorial Green and Gold Hockey Tournament over the weekend, defeating the Glace Bay Panthers 3-2 at the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney on Sunday. Josh Novak, Gahan Rector and Royce Balcom fired home goals for the Ravens, who went undefeated in the event with a perfect 5-0-0-0 record.Riverview's Andrew Burke was the winning goaltender. Glace Bay's Kristian MacKenzie was tagged with the loss. Statistics were not reported on the official game sheet.

Meanwhile, the host Memorial Marauders posted a 1-2 record in the round robin with the club's only victory coming over Sydney Academy, 7-2, on Friday. The team was defeated in the quarter-finals Saturday afternoon, 5-3, by Sydney Academy.
