The union representing about 55,000 Ontario education workers has given five days’ notice of a potential provincewide strike.
The union has not indicated if education workers would engage in a full or partial strike, start with a work-to-rule campaign, or take some other course of action at that point.
All teachers should have work experience (retail) before becoming teachers and then they wouldn’t complain so much
So sad to use kids as pawns to get more money.
Legislate back to work immediately. Don’t disrupt schooling and don’t let the CUPE pawns lose their earnings they’ll never recover while union still collects dues lose 15% to gain 2% makes no sense.
Good

It is for the kids, it is not like they have had a near nonexistent education since February 2020.
The fordnation gov’t is screwing up almost every portfolio they have with unskilled & inept ministers & tone deaf comms (except Clarke). Now they’ll overreact & try to swat their flies with a sledgehammer. insecure outclassed onted
In this thread People from Ontario who want you to vote federal lib. Their arguments They think their province with $300 BILLION in debt and runaway growth, could be a utopia, if it wasn't for Ford messing everything up after the libs were tossed out for rampant corruption.
Give them the nearly 50% increase they demand, then maybe the rest of us working smucks can use it as reference for our next 'hopeful' raise...
