Ms Birbalsingh said what is needed in schools are teachers who are “on the ground, who can make a difference”.

And socially inept and void of all manners.

Why isn’t parents & carers held accountable for children’s behaviour at school? If the children are respectful and follow expectations there wouldn’t be a problem. Student discipline is a reflection of family & community values.

Cue all the left wing snowflakes that conflate discipline with child abuse in 3, 2, 1, go!!

Very interested where the 70th of 77 figure was sourced from? Which study? Such a demeaning headline towards the education profession. A classroom environment should & can be based on fairness & expectations with clear consequences, not cracking the whip. Welcome to the 70’s 🤦🏼‍♂️
