Police say the head was placed in the centre of the crosswalk in a move that they say “appears to have been intentional and designed to disturb students, staff and parents.”Due to these circumstances, investigators are treating this incident as a possible hate crime targeted at the school, which has a Gay-Straight Alliance,” a police release reads.
Mounties are asking anyone who noted suspicious activity in the area between the evening of Oct. 15 and the late morning of Oct. 16 or has information related to missing or mutilated pigs to contact them. They are also appealing to butchers and meat packers to let police know if they recently sold, or had a pig’s head stolen.Share this article in your social network
