Twenty-six people, mostly children, were taken to the hospital after carbon monoxide leaked at a daycare center in Allentown, Pa., Tuesday morning, according to the city’s fire department

Capt. John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department said 25 children and eight staff members were evacuated from the Happy Smiles Learning Center. Parents picked up a few of the children, he said, while the rest of the children and the staff were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
