It is alarming because our schools and universities are going to face new crises for which they will need online learning. Chief among them is the climate emergency. The rejection of online education is unsurprising because ever since its development, it has been considered the poor cousin of in-person education.

Yeah I mean we could save a lot of money by getting rid of physical schools and teachers and custodial/ building maintenance. Converting learning to online and finding a better system. Wow, if only greed wasn't in the way.
Well, fordnation has been trying to say that for 5 years... The Teachers unions keep fighting it! We need to prepare our kids for a future of online work and learning!
