The eight-month-old strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is expected to be called off in days. Renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, on Monday confirmed this in a chat with Channels TV, adding that it was likely that the striking lecturers and Nigerian government resolved their issues outside the courtroom. “The legal advice that I will give to my clients is confidential. But I can assure you that the strike will soon be called off,” Falana stated.
