Jega: Corruption in education sector significant enough to warrant serious attentionAttahiru Jega, former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says corruption in the education sector is a miniature version of what is prevalent in the wider Nigerian context. This is where we produce the corruption in the public service. We train and educate them to loot. Then when they occupy office and refuse to pay our entitlement and improve the universities we go on strike 🤣. We deserve what we get. No ASSU member should ever complain 🤪 If you want corrupt free public servants that looks after the universities and benefits of lecturers, you must produce them in your classes. Otherwise do not complain or go on strike. Period.
