DOING THE research for ‘Far From Home’ was a huge learning experience for Alleyne Dance founders Kristina and Sadé Alleyne.
Next month sees the busy duo also premiere ‘Close to Home’, a parallel project created with local communities, as part of Lewisham’s year as the Mayor of London’s London Borough of Culture 2022 and Dance Umbrella’s 44th Festival on October 22-23. Devised, choreographed and performed by Kristina and Sadé Alleyne the production brings the company’s powerhouse physicality and style to the stage.
