Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello said the person alleged to have stabbed the pupil had been arrested. Provincial education department spokesperson Steve Mabona on Tuesday said:"We understand that the learner from Thuto-Tiro stabbed a learner from General Smuts, and unfortunately, the learner from General Smuts passed away. We have dispatched a team of psychologists to visit the school this morning and provide the necessary support," Mabona said.
