PROVO, Utah — An offensive chant directed toward BYU fans and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints could be heard during the Cougars' 41-20 loss against Oregon in Eugene on Saturday.
That's when she pulled out her phone and started recording — a video that has since gone viral and garnered reactions from near and far. Aubrey said she also spoke with another staff member, who told her they would see if the stadium could make an announcement about it. Aubrey said that never happened, however.
"It's just trash talk, I guess," said Eli Wilder Dean, a junior at BYU."I mean, it's not like it's not great."
Sucks when the coin flips.
Move the fook on
It was a football game maybe they were saying “Good Luck Mormons” just like that guy at the volleyball game was saying Dig instead of the N-word 🤷♀️🤷♀️
They hurt their feelings
Next time BYU should pull players off field and refuse to take field until the stadium is cleared.
Also I guess you’ve never been to a byu at Wyoming game have you
You hear what the Mormons say to the person of color at byu games?
well yeah fuck mormons😃 they suck. ruined the whole state
You guys said you wanted to be called Mormons. Now you guys want to take it back. That's not how it works. And at least they weren't chanting let's go domestic abusers and child rapists.
Caveman level brain function
Just like old times… being unwelcome everywhere you go. Until you got to Utah and burned all the crops, killed all the cattle and murdered all the people who didn’t leave.
Hold up…the Mormons / BYU fans are offended by chants at a game🤔
You should hear about the shit byu people think about people of color.
