A 12-year-old boy who police say wounded a fellow student last month at an Oakland school afterThe Oakland Police Department said in a statement Tuesday the boy was charged by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

Oakland student charged for accidentally shooting 13-year-old at school, police sayOakland police say that a 12-year-old Madison Park Academy student accidentally shot a 13-year-old boy on Aug. 29.
